He hears his stubble rubbing against the speaker of the phone. The other side rings. Be home. Be home. Be home.
The line picked up. A voice on the other end. "Hello?
"It's done."
There was a long pause. "What? Holy shit."
He rubs his bearded chin back and forth on the speaker, deliberately now. Thinking. Thinking.Thinking.
"What now?" The voice asked.
