Eva took a seat on a bus bench near the busy street and settled in for the wait. Her age-knurled fingers trembled as she removed an ancient piece of paper from her purse. A faded silver photograph showcased a teenaged couple. Taken forty years earlier, their soft smiles were a counterpoint to their stiffly formal wedding outfits.
