She stood in the exit queue behind her husband and in-laws following an uninteresting and inconsequential match at the All England Tennis Club on a warm day in late June. The two extra tickets were a surprise from her husband's parents, who cheerfully greeted them early that morning at Heathrow, following the overnight, nine-hour flight from Atlanta. Anna managed to muster just enough enthusiasm about the tickets. Max and his parents loved tennis, she pretended.........
