An arctic air mass , not seen since 1996, is expected to blast Southern Louisiana with freezing temperatures. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for southeast Louisiana from 6 p.m. Wednesday to 10 a.m. Sunday. By early Thursday, a chance of rain could change to sleet and then snow!
Temperatures could drop as low as 13 degrees.
