Marvellous portrait. My happyest remember was the last exposition of his work, in Paris at Fondation Cartier. ( I 've visited 3 times ) Unfortunately, numerous visitors were unable to take quiet and to ear his soul, misunderstood his work on Paris. Critics from visitors were hards, and poors, as if, us, frenchs visitors, were unable to exit from "classicism photo", with simplicist narration.
Beautiful portrait from a genius.
Hope a day you come for an exposition in France.
( Sorry for my english)

Thank you! It was a memorable trip. Eggleston and a group of other photographers had an exhibition and opening at the J. Paul Getty Museum in L.A.. I made this portrait at the place we stayed in Santa Monica, a funky hotel-apartment bldg., called The Embassy.
