Louisiana Governor Won’t Seek 2nd Term
NEW ORLEANS, March 20 — Gov. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco, politically battered by a shaky post-Hurricane Katrina performance, announced Tuesday that she would not seek election to a second term this fall.
