I have been making photographs in the UK for about tens years , as part of the series UKOK. It now appears that due to heightened terrorist alert, continuing the project may be a problem?
Innocent photographer or terrorist?

Hi William
Yesterday, as noted on my blog, I was harassed twice by the Law and I am what I look like, a dishevelled, middle aged, unemployed bloke with a camera, not a terrorist in the making. Although two sets of two coppers thought I was, a terrorist that is. So yes, it's getting almost impossible to shoot freely in the streets of London or the UK. I also think I must have showed up on several thousand CCTV cameras while walking a few miles around the city.
That is very disappointing indeed! The fact is that with the high quality of pictures people can make from an iPhones now, it would be impossible to actually police anybody trying to make photographs in public for the wrong reasons! We are just easy pry for an over zealous police force needing to feel relevant!
I really dig this.
