It is with great sadness I note the loss of my dear friend , Elemore Morgan Jr. (1931-2008). Elemore was Louisiana’s greatest contemporary landscape painter. He was also one of the kindest , most soft spoken and talented people I had the honor of knowing. Elemore , you will be missed by many , including me!

Nice pic. Who's the guy on the right? We went to a memorial for Elemore tonight in NO. Saw Mary and the kids and a bunch of others we haven't seen for a while. It's time for lunch, don't you think?

Death and funerals have always beem difficult for me! Celebrate the living, appreciate the ones you love! When they are gone..they are gone?
