CRUISE TO NOWHERE...

I have been working on a series of cruise ship images, in fact, the series was to be exhibited last month in New Orleans, but the show was cancelled. Once again, my ship didn't leave port. Well last Mardi Gras we decided to take a cruise out of New Orleans, make some pictures and get the chill out of our bones. The day the ship was to leave port, two boats collided and sunk in the mouth of the Mississippi, stopping port traffic for days. When we finally departed New Orleans, the ship headed out into a rough Gulf of Mexico and made circles. It rained most of the time, except the sun showed itself once! It never warmed up but the sight was something to see. I lamented being "stuck" in New Orleans! I can't imagine that thought now.
